The ruling parties brilliant leader in the House, Nancy Pelosi has repeatedly stated that Cap and Trade will be a priority for the 111th Congress. This idiocy was embraced some years ago in Europe and a few other countries. What cap and trade does is create an artificial market for various industries to buy, sell, and trade allowances (? yeah allowances) that permit a certain amount of carbon output. This thing has long been on the wish list for American liberals and extremist environmentalists (read authentic wackos). And with Democrats now in control of Congress and the White House, you can bet they will soon engage in an all out effort to enact cap and trade. In fact, in the 2010 White House budget, President Barack Obama calls for a sweeping cap and trade program that would raise $646 billion in new revenues (read brand new tax on Americans). In an aside to that lets look at what has worked in the past to increase Federal revenue, Tax increases have invariably resulted in eventual lower governmental revenue since they stifle initiative and entrepreneurship that would have increased employment and through that more tax money coming in. Let’s just remember tax increases have always resulted in less government revenue. Lowering the tax burden on the citizens has always resulted in more governmental income since it allows “us” to use more of our money to purchase more of the goods and services we need. Through that entrepreneurship flourishes employment goes up and thus more taxpayers to send money to Washington. Let’s just remember tax cuts have worked every time they have been tried.
Now here’s a few reasons why Cap and Trade is only for the ignorant borrowed from Freedom Works dot org:
1. It will raise energy costs: While different nuanced approaches continue to surface, any analysis of any cap and trade scheme comes to the same conclusion; energy costs will go up. The latest serious attempt to enact cap and trade in the United States, America’s Climate Security Act of 2007 sponsored by Sens. Joseph Lieberman (I-CT) and John Warner (R-VA), serves as a good example. An analysis of this legislation cited during a Senate hearing held by the Committee on Environment and Public Works estimated the costs (an estimate that’s sure as hell conservative) to the average American household would be between $800 and $1,300 by 2015, and then increasing to $1,500 to $2,500 by 2050.
2. It doesn’t help the environment: If energy costs are going to go up for Americans, shouldn’t there be significant environmental benefit and progress towards reversing (if you believe it really exists) climate change? You would think so. But even if the most aggressive of cap and trade schemes were properly adhered to, scientists that both advocate and oppose a cap and trade program widely agree that the maximum drop to the earth’s temperature would be no more than 0.07 degrees Celsius by the year 2050 (if any). To give some sense of just how negligible this decrease would be, we cannot even estimate the absolute mean surface temperature of the earth within 0.07 at any time past, present or future, there simply is no way to do that at least until the 24th century and then Spock can do it. What’s worse is that cap and trade actually provides incentives to emit more carbon, not less. An article by the Christian Science Monitor explains: “By turning carbon emissions into commodities that can be bought and sold, cap-and-trade policies could remove the stigma from producing such emissions.” In other words, if industries understand they are working within a legal framework when they output carbon, the public pressure for them to cut down is weakened. Evidence of this can be seen in Europe where most countries have seen carbon emissions go up, even though the European Union has had a cap and trade regime in place since 2005.
3. It doesn’t work where it has been tried: Speaking of Europe, let’s take a closer look at how cap and trade is fairing. As mentioned earlier, the EU is watching carbon emission levels rise despite the fact that they have had a cap and trade system since 2005. Furthermore, the Heartland Institute reports that 12 of the 15 EU nations taking part in the 1997 Kyoto Protocol, a program that sets greenhouse gas reduction targets and serves as a precursor to cap and trade, are failing to meet their reduction targets, with three going over by more than 10 percent and another three going over by more than 20 percent. In fact, emissions for all EU countries went up on average 2.1 percent between 2000 and 2004. Compare this with the United States where currently no such regulatory regime exists and yet emissions went up only 1.3 percent during the same time period. Nonetheless, President Obama has announced an aggressive set of targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, promising to “work expeditiously with key stakeholders and the Congress to develop an economy-wide emissions reduction program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions approximately 14 percent below 2005 levels by 2020, and approximately 83 percent below 2005 levels by 2050.”
4. It will cost Americans jobs: This calculation is a pretty simple one. For U.S. industry to comply with a cap and trade scheme, they have to reduce their carbon emissions. There are two ways to do this: (1) produce less – this obviously hurts jobs as companies would seek to streamline their workforce to compensate for a drop in production, or (2) buy carbon allowances in order to keep production up – this, too, would threaten jobs as companies would be forced to devote more internal resources to allowances, negatively effecting their bottom lines and potentially putting workers on the chopping block. In either case, the rising costs of energy under a cap and trade system, as mentioned earlier, only add to the problem. An analysis conducted by Charles River Associates in 2007 estimated anywhere from 1.2 million to 2.3 million jobs would be lost under a cap and trade scheme.
5. It is in effect a hidden regressive tax: We’ve talked about how cap and trade causes energy prices to go up. That doesn’t just hit American industry, but American consumers as well. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) correctly notes that as these prices go up in the form of higher gasoline, heating oil, and electricity, the poor are hit hardest with what is in effect a hidden regressive tax. President Obama promises to return revenues to vulnerable communities, families and businesses, but that leaves taxpayers at the whim of government to redistribute income rather than letting taxpayer keep their hard earned dollars.
6. It sets a dangerous precedent: While extremist environmentalists and their liberal allies have been whining about climate change for years, most stop short of declaring cap and trade the silver-bullet solution. Environmental groups like the Sierra Club and the National Resources Defense Council are generally supportive of the concept of cap and trade. However, as The Heritage Foundation has pointed out, these groups have found fault with actual proposals such as America’s Climate Security Act of 2007, criticizing them for not going far enough and willing only to endorse them as “a good first step.” As much damage as a cap and trade scheme would cause in its own right, this posture by extreme environmental groups foreshadows even more draconian regulations in our future. Yes that’s right they will never be satisfied until we (you and I) have no money, no car, no home and no way to get them. Sorry if I sound alarmist but I believe we simply cannot give ourselves over these nuts because they have demonstrated they have no regard for real people, they believe WE ARE THE PROBLEM
7. It prevents market forces from working for the environment: The market distortions imposed by a cap and trade system would be significant. Recently, major energy companies such as ExxonMobil and Shell have invested hundreds of millions of dollars in technologies that capture and store carbon as well as lower carbon alternative energy sources. A cap and trade system however, sets up perverse incentives that will distract these and other companies from market-based solutions to curb carbon output. Resources instead will be funneled to the artificial market for carbon allowances that cap and trade sets up.
8. It threatens to put the U.S. at a competitive disadvantage with other countries: Though the E.U. and the United States may be buying into cap and trade, industrial giants like China and India are not. Remember the lost jobs we talked about in point #4? In addition to China and India, nearby Mexico (another country where cap and trade is not even a remote possibility) are more than willing to pick up the U.S. slack and bolster their already robust manufacturing sectors.
9. It opens the door to massive fraud and corruption: As energy companies look to game the system, cap and trade would open the door wide for fraud and corruption that could devastate U.S. investors and the economy as a whole. This has been seen already in the UK, a country currently participating in cap and trade. In a recent article by the British-based Guardian newspaper they report: “Britain’s biggest polluting companies are abusing a European emissions trading scheme (ETS) designed to tackle global warming by cashing in their carbon credits in order to bolster ailing balance sheets.” In the United States we have seen what happens when companies engage in creative accounting measures to hide losses and the staggering domino effect it can have on Wall Street investors and the larger economy. If you need more proof of this threat, look no further than this report by The Competitive Enterprise Institute that discusses Enron’s support for a cap and trade scheme that would allow them to dominate this new, made-up market for carbon.
10. It threatens to bust the federal budget at a time when the United States can scarcely afford it: Federal spending continues at a breakneck pace. The recent passage of the trillion-dollar stimulus bill along with even more taxpayer funded bailouts looming on the horizon add to U.S. budget woes and sink us deeper into recession. And as if times weren’t tough enough, the CBO reports that cap and trade would heap additional undue pressure on our fragile budget. According to their report, government would face the same challenges with higher energy costs that consumers do. Additionally, the fall in production for U.S. industry would lead to a loss of federal government tax revenues. Further increasing spending while decreasing revenues makes cap and trade a tough sell in the current economic climate.
Okay that’s their take but it really looks to Poppajohn that the current rulers of America are deliberately trying to break her. Their actions make no sense unless viewed in that light. Oh happy day.
How about a special to brighten things up!! Hi, Folks
Been so bummed out lately by all the liberal goingson in DC that I haven’t had the wherewithall to even sit down at the keyboard and type. The United States is being wiped out in front of our eyes and we are helpless to do anything about it.
I probably would not be writing this had it not been for a good customer who e-mailed me and kind of snapped me out of my bummer. I had to e-mail him back with some explanation of my actions and then launched into a small rant about the state of the state and afterwards I liked it so much I jus hadda reprint it for you, at least part of it is below.
“I must be honest with you concerning my current state of mind. The present political situation distresses me terribly, the President and Congress are determined to turn my wonderful US into Cuba. The Country it seems is now progressing toward that end so much faster than at any time in history that I walk around talking to myself. I wake up nights worrying about the future of my family and even my own, short as it probably is. The new taxes, governmental programs, bailouts, takeovers and controls on individuals I am certain will combine to be sure catastrophe for the US. We tripled the money supply with the stimulus package, when that money leaves the bank vaults and our savings assumes 30% of it’s previous worth will be the real knife in the back. *The one trillion dollar estimate over ten years of the cost of the healthcare package which will certainly be approved (** and then provide governmental care for 1/3 of those presently without health insurance) would be hilarious if it weren’t so inherently tragic. Never has there been a political program whose actual cost was even close to the original politician’s estimate, they always exceed it and usually by several times the estimate. The quality of the people in charge of both houses of Congress (no matter the party) is particularly troubling. They apparently have no clue of the consequences of their actions and are instead focused on being re-elected rather than taking care of their constituents.
I have been very lax about keeping the blogs and e-mails going to my faithful customers as I should have and I am blaming that on the state of the Union. I hope you have shocked me back into reality so I deal with those things I have control of instead of being catatonic due to worrying about what I can’t.
* Oops sorry I guess the estimate has already been increased to two trillion over ten years and then increased to “well we just don’t know”, great.
** this of course means that the other 66% will be clamoring for their cut thus increasing the cost by three times what it eventually turns out to be

Okay for what it’s worth, there it is. Now to make this entry worthwhile for you I have come up with a special on a new item (even though as my supplier says there’s no money in em, take that to mean they don’t have any markup room) the TASER® X26C which is not only awesome in stopping power but looks awesome too. They come with a holster and 6 air cartridges included. The retail on this item is $999.00 and Poppajohn sells it for 979.00 but even though there’s no room for any price cuts Poppajohn is gonna let you order one for $929.00 Just use the discount code NEWTASER when you check out.
Next entry we will deal with the latest fiasco the DC fools have in mind The CAP and TRADE bill.
Thanks a lot!
Be safe!

Well thank God the holidays including MLK will be over after Monday. Guess that means I can get busy and do something other than eating, going to parties, eating, going to relatives, eating, going to casinos and eating and drinking along with a little poker. Ole Poppajohn actually came in second in a poker tournament at Harrah’s Rincon here in the People’s Republic of Arnold’s California. We were also at Pechanga (my pocket Aces lost to two pair) in California plus Reno (just plain card poor) and Vegas. Conveniently for me the ATMs in those places are all located inside, prominent and usually with an armed guard close by so there was no need to worry so much about someone attempting to relieve me of my cash. All ATMs however are not so well placed and if you must use one after hours it should be cause for concern. Poppajohn will attempt to help out with that worry with the following treatise on ATM Security. I will follow up with a real neat new special.
ATM SECURITY
ATM cash machines have been incorporated in our way of life. They offer a real convenience to those on the run but at the same time offer an element of risk. Using an ATM machine safely requires awareness and a little planning. Just because an ATM machine is open and available 24-hours a day doesn’t mean it is safe to use it. Most ATM robberies occur at night between 8:00 PM and midnight. ATM robbers are usually males under 25 years of age and most work alone. ATM robbers usually position themselves nearby waiting for a victim to approach and withdraw cash. Most ATM robbery victims are women and were alone when robbed. Most claim that they never saw the robber coming. Most ATM robbers used a gun or claimed to have a concealed weapon when confronting the victim and demanding their cash.
If you or your family members use ATM cash machines on a regular basis, here are some tips that can make the process a little safer:
• Use only ATM machines in well-lighted, high-traffic areas. Don’t use ATM machines
that are remote or hidden such as being located behind buildings, behind pillars, walls,
or away from public view. Beware of obvious hiding places like shrubbery or
overgrown trees. ATM robbers like to have the element of surprise and no witnesses.
Robbers like good escape routes like nearby freeway on-ramps or high speed
thoroughfares.
• Choose an ATM that looks and ‘feels’ safer, even if it is a couple of miles out of the
way. Try and limit your use to daylight hours. Take someone with you after hours, if
you can. When you drive up to an ATM location, scan the area for any suspicious
persons. If you see anyone suspicious standing nearby or sitting in a car, drive away.
When you approach an ATM on foot be prepared and have your access card ready.
Memorize your personal PIN number (never write it down) to prevent loss and speed the transaction. After inserting your card and your PIN number keep an eye out behind you. Never accept an offer to help or request for help from a suspicious male ahead of you at the machine. If anyone suspicious or seemingly dangerous approaches terminate your transaction and leave immediately, even if it means running away and leaving your ATM card in the machine. First, tell the suspicious male in a loud, firm voice to “back-off” and leave you alone. This is designed to startle the person and give you time to flee, if appropriate. When you receive cash from the machine put it away immediately, extract your card, and walk away.
• If you use your car at a drive-thru ATM machine the same rules apply plus the following. Keep the car in gear, with your foot firmly on the brake, while using the ATM machine. Keep a close eye on your rear and side view mirrors during the transaction. Robbers almost always approach from the rear on the drivers side. If you see anyone approaching, drive off even if it means leaving your ATM card behind. If you are confronted by an armed robber, just give up your money without argument. The cash is not worth serious injury or death. Get to a safe place and call the police immediately.
• If lights around the ATM are not working, don’t use that machine
• Avoid ATM machines adjacent to obvious hiding places
• Have your card ready and leave quickly, not counting your cash in public
• Beware of offers for help from strangers during an ATM transaction
• Don’t fight with or attempt to follow the robber
• Drive or walk to a safe place and immediately call the police
Okay, end of sermon. Now let’s eat, oh no let’s get to the special!!
Poppajohn was offered an outrageous price on a quality telescoping stun baton from the manufacturer Street Wise because of some slight damage that occurred during shipping let’s check em out

If there is such a thing I have it. A head full of crap is what I call it. Come to think of it that reminds me of a presidential candidate I just listened to something about spreading something, oh well. Can’t wait until the election is over!
No sooner did I get back from vacation than my wifes’ Mom was hospitalized back in RI. We were on the phone constantly trying to keep updated and aware of how she was doing all to no avail as she passed away on Monday 10/13. We spent the day Tuesday 10/14 on line and the phone getting all the arrangements and airline tickets plus car rental and hotel reservations for the trip back for the funeral. Since returning from the funeral a week ago Sunday, Poppajohn has been under the weather big time with the aforementioned “bad head” and spent most of last week pretty much comatose, sure happy that’s over.
Lessee, oh yeah my original purpose here was to come up with something to stimulate sales cuz they’ve been a little slow. So howsabout a real good across the board discount? Well why not I heard someone say.
All right then here goes. From now until midnight Halloween Poppajohn will discount your purchases by 10% for purchases up to $50, 15% for purchases between $50 and $100 and 20% yeah twenty percent for purchases over $100. Dasdabest I can do folks so iffn you want a discount just enter the code “HALLOWEEN” in the message to merchant section during checkout, caps or not I don’t care. If you choose the Paypal option during checkout Poppajohn will issue you a paypal refund, if you do not your CC charge will be processed at the discounted price.

Hey folks, I’ve been out of town for what seems like a month. My wife and I had to go celebrate our anniversary (twenty fifth). We were at four indian casinos in California plus Tahoe Reno and Las Vegas. We had one great time and we really needed to get away, we had both been working sixty or so hours a week. So what did I learn while I was away besides my wife’s first name again? How about that Mooks are the same all over, even in Tahoe. The very best thing that I could recommend anyone do prior to leaving on a trip such as that is to load up on mook tools. Start with a new C-2 taser and add a Mace Pepper-Gun for a better distance. Don’t forget something for close in work such as a steel telescopic baton and a 4 Oz pepper spray like Wildfire or Mace Pepper-Gel. At that point you should feel prepared to deal with most anything you are likely to run into on that road trip. Remember if you use your taser to stop an attacker, you can leave it attached to the mook and leave while the taser is keeping him immobilized and Taser will replace it for you with just a copy of the police report.

Hi, everyone;
Poppajohn is back cuz he told ya last week he would have some tips on keeping your apartment secure when you’re gone. No one wants to worry all the time they are gone about what they left behind. So here’s just a few things to set your mind at rest.
One of the times your home is most vulnerable is of course when it is left empty for an extended period of time.
Darkened windows, mail or newspapers collecting and closed windows in hotter weather all advertise your absence to a potential burglar.
The A #1 best protection for your apartment during your absence is to have a house sitter.
A friend you trust staying at your house can take care of your pets and/or plants in addition to making sure the house is inhabited. If you don’t want or can’t get a house sitter then, try to Have a neighbor check on your apartment while you’re away — turning on lights, radios or TVs and opening and closing curtains will give your apartment the appearance of someone home.
If you don’t have a friend or neighbor to housesit or check your apartment while you’re away — perhaps even if you do — you should keep not only lights but a TV or radio on a timer. If you’re like some folks and have your TV on almost all the time you’re home [NOTE: even if you don’t watch it and just use it to provide background noise.], the absence of the sound and that glowing light in the windows announces that you’re not there.
If you have an alarm system make sure whoever is checking your apartment while you’re away knows how to work your alarm system and who to call in case of a problem. Probably best to have them over for a training session and also leave detailed instructions on using the alarm.
Unless you have a house sitter, stop your mail and any newspaper or other regular deliveries. Nothing announces an empty apartment better than a stack of newspapers or an overflowing mailbox. Ask a nearby neighbor to pick up any packages delivered while you’re gone.
If you have a garden or plants on your balcony, make sure your sitter or someone is watering the plants regularly or put the plants where they can’t be seen. Plants slowly dying due to lack of water will announce your absence.
Check your lease. Many landlords require that you notify them if your apartment is going to be left empty for any period of time (this is so they can enter in case of emergency even if they can’t reach you). If you’ve got a house sitter this isn’t necessary.
Finally if you do not have an alarm think about getting one. It need not be elaborate or expensive. Mooks like things to be easy (that’s why they’re mooks) almost any alarm going off will cause them to re-think their plans about stealing from you. I once had a neighbor who asked me why I kept my gate locked all the time and felt that it was silly because a thief could get over it without opening it. I replied, that may be true but that’s what they will have to do cuz I ain’t gonna make it any easier for em.
Last, first and foremost IF YOU HAVE A LOCK USE IT.

Hi, Again Poppajohn here. I am finally getting around to addressing the vacation season for the newsletter subscribers and bloggers. Right now we will just worry about those of us who have a single family home to worry about while they are gone, later we’ll address keeping apartments safe while empty and how to stay relatively safe while on vacation.
Okay we all realize that our homes are most vulnerable when we are away so here’s a few things you can do to keep them safe while you are gone.
1. • Try to make sure your home looks like someone is living in it. Don’t close your curtains cuz closed curtains during the day makes the house look empty. Think about getting automatic time or photo control switches to turn your lights on when it gets dark and off in the daytime.
2. • Have good dead bolts installed on all outside doors, and place locks or alarm locks on all downstairs or easily accessible windows.
3. • Try to make it appear as if the house is occupied, start by cancelling any milk or newspaper deliveries. Cut the lawn before you go and trim back any plants that burglars could hide behind. Get a friend or neighbor to look after your home. They can collect your mail, mow your lawn and so on. This gives the impression that someone is living in your home. If you leave keys with a neighbor, don’t label them with your address.
4. • Don’t leave valuables, like your TV, DVD or Video Game Box, where people can see them through windows. Hey if nothing else cover them with a towel or other cloth.
5. • Mark any valuable items with your zip code and house number using an ‘invisible’ pen that you can get from DIY shops or e-mail me poppajohn@personalsecurity4u.net and I can get one to place on the web site for ordering. If your property is stolen, this will help the police to identify it if it is found, which might not only allow them to return it to you but could also provide them with better evidence to convict the people responsible.
6. • Make sure that you have up-to-date contents insurance.
7. • Do not put your home address on your luggage when you are traveling to your holiday destination. Mooks have actually been known to pay airport workers for this information.
8. • Lock the garage and shed if you have one with proper heavy duty security locks, after putting all your tools safely away so they cannot be used to break into your house. If you need to leave a ladder out, put it on its side and lock it to a secure fixture with a ‘close shackle’ padlock or heavy-duty chain.
9. • Finally, lock all outside doors and windows. If you have a burglar alarm, make sure it is set and that you have told the police who has the key.
10. • And just before you leave, it’s worth spending a couple of minutes checking through the list to be sure that you’ve done all you had to do and taken everything that you need with you.
11. • Also if you have a neighborhood watch for your street be sure the designated one in charge knows you will be gone, and the dates.
Well that oughta help some, if you can accomplish those things or come close it will go a long way towards insuring you house and property are still there waiting for you when you get home.
And while you are traveling:
Always carry personal protection, be aware and have a plan.*

Poppajohn is just gettin too damn old, he can’t take it anymore.
Saturday in my local paper there was a story about a former soldier P.F.C. Joseph Dwyer

who had volunteered as a medic and participated in the original Iraqui Freedom Campaign and the incredibly successful run up to Baghdad which had been orchestrated by my old classmate T.R. Franks. He had been photographed rescuing an Iraqui child that had been injured by shrapnel and had been treated as the hero that he was although he always deflected that by turning it to the other guys who he said deserved that accolade more. He had a wife and baby daughter he obviously loved very much. Heroism turned to tragedy after the young man returned home suffering from ptsd he could not cope with the images from the combat and imagining the enemy all around him. He simply went downhill until he ended up abusing inhalants until he died alone without his family, no friends, no anything. Terribly tragic and on the front page. We must do something to see to it that our returning heroes do not have something like this happen to them. Not a fitting end for a legitimate hero and such an obviously fine man.
The same day I received an e-mail with the following story about a local hero from Garden Grove, CA.:
This much I knew. PO2 (EOD2) Mike Monsoor, a Navy EOD Technician, was awarded the
Congressional Medal of Honor posthumously for jumping on a grenade in Iraq,
giving his life to save his fellow Seals.
This I did not know. During Mike Monsoor’s funeral in San Diego, as his coffin
was being moved from the hearse to the grave site at Ft. Rosecrans National
Cemetery, forty five of his fellow SEALs were lined up on both sides of the
pallbearers route forming a column of two’s, with the coffin moving up the
center. As Mike’s coffin passed, each SEAL, having removed his SEAL gold
Trident Insignia from his uniform, slapped it down embedding the Trident in the wooden coffin.
The slaps were audible from across the cemetery; by the time the coffin
arrived grave side, it looked as though it had a gold inlay from all the
Tridents pinned to it. This was a fitting send-off for a warrior hero.
This should be front-page news also at least as much as PFC Dwyers’ tragic story.
Since the major portion of the mainstream media won’t make this news, I can at
least blog it. I am proud of our military. I am certain that you are also proud of them.
We can all rest assured that the fine men and women of our military will continue to
serve and die with honor. God bless all the PFC Dwyers and PO2 Monsoors. Where do
we get such men?

Hi, Folks; De Old Effo is back cuz bears are in the news here in California: A woman walking her two dogs in Caliente CA. (Thats a rural town near the mountains and a recent burn area) was attacked and severely injured by a black bear, the reason we know it was a Black bear is cuz back when folks in California did things fer the benefit of the “Human” race the Grizzlies were eliminated for being too likely to eat someone. Bears are sometimes provoked by dogs who get between a mother and her cubs but it doesn’t seem to be the case here. The woman although injured managed to escape the attack and drive herself to a fire station along with her two dogs I guess. One of the dogs was also injured but not seriously they say. The lady was later airlifted to UCLA Medical Center for further treatment.
Folks, Poppajohn has been saying for years don’t camp in, walk in, eat in, drive through, or even be near possible bear habitat without bear spray or a high caliber firearm at hand. Bears are unpredictable, they do what they damn well please and fifty years of watching em be cute and cuddly on World of Disney does not change that. The bear authorities here (i.e. Fish and Game) were trying to track the bear so far without success. Why were they tracking the bear (to kill it) we kill them after they attack a human. Kind of like the police whose job it is to respond to crime not prevent it. Now Poppajohn loves the outdoors and would not harm any wildlife unless it was necessary but when it becomes necessary one must have the means at hand. Now bear spray can actually prevent the harming of a bear becoming necessary and that makes it really great stuff to have with you on your camping and hiking trips. De Old Effo has what he believes is the best price you can find on bear spray, decide for your self. All the information is below.

Hey folks, Poppajohn here It’s just Saturday morning and I’m on a conference call while trying to type one handed. Yeah one of these days I gotta get a head set. Local divorced dads seem to be goin nuts had three lately up and kill their ex wives during a meeting to pick up or bring back their children. It occurs to me that all three ex wives could still be alive if they had been carrying personal protection in almost any form. My own recommendation is the Mace Pepper Gun. It’s new, easy to use and effective, it gives you a great method to keep that angry guy a good twenty feet away. De Old Effo loves em and heres why.

Ya know folks way back when Poppajohn was still a young
stud F.O. in the RVN. We had
Artillery outfits that were I believe eight inch
SP (sorry that’s self propelled) M-110 Howitzer units
they fired a 200-pound projectile out to almost 17 kilometers
(16,800-meters). Now this is a pretty good deal but
they were not content with that range and addressed
that need by changing the 8 inch barrels out for 175MM
gun barrels when needed.
The 175-mm. gun fired a 174-pound projectile almost
33 kilometers. Now this was good distance!
The MACE PEPPER SPRAY GUN fills a vacant long
range (up to 25 ‘) niche for non-lethal self protection
devices, the civilian
tasers max out at fifteen feet and you only get
one shot then what you’re left with is a stun
gun which to use you must close with your assailant. Now
don’t misunderstand me a stun gun is a whole bunch better
than nothin but it’s not as good as a weapon that you
can engage your enemy at long range with. The Mace Pepper
Gun Spray is way better than any conventional
pepper spray cuz it uses a much better delivery
system utilizing patented Bag-in-a-Can
Technology. This new system allows the pepper spray
to spray like an garden hose continuously from any angle,
even when The Mace Pepper Spray Gun is upside down.
Shoots seven blasts up to 25 feet, that’s 10 feet further
than a Taser.
Practice with water refills!! Comes complete ready to
go!!
